El impacto de Ortega. La percepción de sus discípulos y colaboradores

Abstract

Ortega trasladó sus ideas pedagógicas a su quehacer como profesor universitario. Muchos de sus discípulos y colaboradores han dejado constancia de ello, como aquí se refiere. Fue para ellos, sobre todo, ejemplo, ejemplo de vida, de orientación vital, de sinceridad intelectual en su quehacer filosófico. En este artículo no analizamos la filosofía de Ortega, lo que hemos hecho en otros textos, sino el impacto que causó la «persona» Ortega en sus colaboradores y discípulos. Aunque es algo estudiado, nunca se ha presentado de esta forma sintética que muestra la envergadura del impacto que Ortega produjo en el mundo intelectual de la Edad de Plata de la cultura española.

Ortega took care to transfer his pedagogical ideas to his achievement as professor at the Spanish University. Many of his disciples have left evidence of this, as analysed here. He was for them, above all, an example, an example of life, of vital orientation, of intellectual sincerity in their philosophical work. In this article we do not analyse Ortega’s philosophy, what we have done in other texts, but rather the impact that the «person» Ortega caused on his collaborators and disciples. Although it is something studied, it has never been presented in this synthetic way that shows the magnitude of the impact that Ortega produced in the intellectual world of the Silver Age of the Spanish culture.
