Abstract

Consideraciones filosóficas a propósito del transhumanismo tecnocientífico: Cuestiones políticas, religiosas y metafísicas” es una tesis doctoral que plantea una investigación en torno al movimiento transhumanista desde varias dimensiones reflexivas con el objetivo de demostrar los nexos de unión con distintas tradiciones de pensamiento, así como aportar nuevas interpretaciones sobre este fenómeno y alternativas a su modelo. Desde el propio estudio introductorio y a lo largo de los cuatro artículos principales que la integran, se plantean los interrogantes correspondientes a cada parámetro analizado (concretamente el político, el religioso y el metafísico), consistentes principalmente en apreciar si el transhumanismo tecnocientífico es un movimiento radicalmente novedoso o se trata de una renovación por otros medios de ideas ya presentes en reflexiones del pasado...Philosophical considerations with regard to techno-scientific transhumanism: Political, religious and metaphysical issues” is a doctoral thesis that proposes an investigation into the transhumanist movement from several reflective dimensions with the aim of demonstrating the links with different traditions of thought, as well as providing new interpretations of this phenomenon and alternatives to its model. From the introductory study itself and throughout the four main articles that comprise it, the questions corresponding to each parameter analyzed (specifically the political, the religious and the metaphysical) are posed, consisting mainly in assessing whether techno-scientific transhumanism is a radically new movement or whether it is a renewal by other means of ideas already present in reflections of the past...
