El Gōkan: un ejemplo de patrimonio histórico escrito

Abstract

This work sought to understand graphically the gōkan, the popular illustrated literary genre that flooded Japan during the last decades of the 18th and 19th centuries. The aim of this research was to provide a definition of the genre and to point out its main graphic characteristics for its correct identification. In the same way, it also included a sigillographic study for its dating during that period.
