Abstract
Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster analiza la migración de ciudadanos ecuatorianos hacia España durante el periodo comprendido entre 2018 y 2024, en un contexto marcado por la crisis socioeconómica y el aumento de la violencia en Ecuador. El análisis se centra en cómo los migrantes acceden y utilizan la información emitida por el Estado ecuatoriano para su proceso de integración a la sociedad española y los obstáculos que enfrentan. A su vez, explora el rol de las instituciones oficiales que generan y difunden esta información, evaluando su impacto en la experiencia migratoria.
A través de un enfoque cualitativo, basado en entrevistas a migrantes ecuatorianos, expertos en migración y representantes de instituciones de apoyo, se pretende analizar cómo han evolucionado los perfiles migratorios y de qué manera
This master’s Thesis analyzes the migration of Ecuadorian citizens to Spain during the period between 2018 and 2024, in a context marked by the socioeconomic crisis and the increase of violence in Ecuador. The analysis focuses on how migrants’ access and use the information issued by the Ecuadorian state for their integration process into Spanish society and the obstacles they face. It also explores the role of the official institutions that generate and disseminate this information, evaluating its impact on the migration experience. Through a qualitative approach, based on interviews with Ecuadorian migrants, migration experts and representatives of support institutions, the aim is to analyze how migration profiles have evolved and how access to and reliability of information affect their integration process in Spain.
