Abstract
En la tesis, Charlie Chaplin: análisis y sistematización de su pantomima, se estudia la figura de Charles Chaplin con el fin de analizar y sistematizar los principios que conforman su estilo pantomímico cinematográfico, del cual se extrae la forma interpretativa del mismo. Para ello se analizan todas las cintas en que Chaplin actúa, siendo un total de 83. Dicho estudio se ejecuta a través del modelo metodológico creado en la presente investigación a partir de principios pantomímicos, interpretativos, cinematográficos y musicales. Los aspectos analizados de cada filme corresponden con los siguientes parámetros: la interpretación de Chaplin; los personajes que representa el mismo; los gags físicos que emplea a lo largo de su carrera; todos los golpes y las caídas acrobáticas que asesta y recibe; la forma en que aprovecha todos los elementos cinematográficos; como utiliza el texto y el sonido, una vez aparece el elemento sonoro en el cine; y por último, se realiza un estudio del acompañamiento musical en contraposición con las escenas a las que corresponde dicha música...
The thesis titled Charlie Chaplin: analysis and systematization of his pantomime examines the character of Charles Chaplin in order to understand and codify the principles that underlie his cinematographic pantomimic style, starting with the way Chaplin approaches pantomimic interpretation in his films.To do so, all the films in which Chaplin acts are analysed, being a total of 83. This study is carried out through the methodological model created in the present research, generated from pantomimic, interpretive, cinematographic and musical principles. The aspects analysed in each film are: Chaplin's interpretation; the characters he represents; the physical gags he uses throughout his career; all the blows and acrobatic falls he deals and receives; the way he takes advantage of all the cinematographic elements; how he uses text and sound, once the sound element appears in the film; and finally, a study of the musical accompaniment is carried out in contrast to the scenes to which said music corresponds...
