As it is well known, cancer is one of the diseases with the highest prevalence and mortality worldwide. Likewise, a large part of the population suffers from heart failure, also characterized by low 10–year overall survival rates. This worrying context highlights the need to develop new strategies for the detection, prognosis, and monitoring of these diseases, which provide rapid results and allow the most efficient therapies to be applied at the right time..
