Abstract
In this paper the civil war between Peter I of Castile and Henry of Trastamara is analized as one of the most important factors in lordship processes of the urban councils at Castile-Leon Estremadura. The aspects analized are: beneficiaries of the lordship mercedes, theory and practice in these concessions, phases of the Henry II grants, consolidation of some lord-ship processes and the development of urban and councils resistances against Henry of Trastamara and lords.
