Aspectos gramaticales del vocativo en español

Abstract

os vocativos son estructuras gramaticales de uso generalizado en la lengua hablada. De acuerdo con Zwicky (1974), los hablantes los emplean para llamar la atención del interlocutor o para mantener o enfatizar el contacto con él. Sin embargo, su estudio no ha despertado el interés de los investigadores españoles, por lo que su gramática ha permanecido ‗olvidada‘ todo este tiempo. El objetivo de esta investigación es llenar este vacío en español tal como ya han hecho numerosos autores en otras lenguas (e.g. Moro, 2003 en italiano; Hill, 2013a, 2013b en rumano; Stavrou, 2014 en griego; Espinal, 2013 en catalán; et al.). Para ello, se ha decidido optar por un enfoque sintáctico-semántico, si bien la pragmática, la morfología, la variación dialectal y lingüística así como la prosodia también estarán muy presentes en esta investigación...

Vocatives are grammatical structures very frequently found in spoken language. According to Zwicky (1974), speakers use them to call the attention of the addressee or to maintain or emphasise contact with them. However, not many Spanish researchers have shown interest in this topic in the past. As a consequence, the grammar of the vocative has been overlooked for many years. The main goal of this thesis is to fill this gap for the Spanish language by examining its vocatives, just as several authors have already done for other languages: Moro (2003) for Italian, Hill (2013a, 2013b) for Romanian, Stavrou (2014) for Greek, and Espinal (2013) for Catalan, for instance.
