El Feminismo Institucional en las políticas públicas de igualdad de género del Ayuntamiento de Madrid 1999-2019

Abstract

Esta tesis aborda el tema del Feminismo Institucional a nivel municipal, a través del estudio de caso del Ayuntamiento de Madrid entre 1999 y 2019. Para hablar de Feminismo Institucional es necesario enfocarse en dos elementos, en primer lugar en la existencia de una estructura establecida por el gobierno capaz de promover políticas con objetivos feministas y en segundo lugar, las oportunidades que desarrolla dicha estructura de políticas de igualdad para dar acceso a la participación del movimiento de mujeres y feministas en el proceso político. En el ámbito del análisis del Feminismo Institucional y las políticas de igualdad las investigaciones se han enfocado en llevar a cabo estudios comparativos de diversos países occidentales, y en el caso de España en explorar los niveles central y autonómico, y en menor medida el municipal, mucho menos si se trata del Ayuntamiento de Madrid...This thesis addresses the issue of institutional feminism at municipal level, through the case study of the Madrid City Council from 1999 to 2019. Speaking about institutional feminism requires focusing on two elements: firstly, the existence of a structure established by the government capable of promoting policies with feminist objectives and secondly, the opportunities that this structure of equality policies develops to give access to the participation of the women's movement and feminists in the political process.
