Abstract
Esta investigación nace con la intención de realizar cuatro entrevistas a dos profesionales de la política y dos profesionales de la comunicación política para su posterior análisis, en referencia a los debates electorales televisados en España. A través del testimonio de José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (expresidente del Gobierno), Carmen Martínez Castro (exsecretaria de Estado de Comunicación), Xabier Fortes (periodista y presentador especializado en política) y Lluís Orriols (politólogo), se tratará de contestar a preguntas clave que permitirán mostrar una imagen sobre el estado actual y la importancia de los debates, examinando, a través de las respectivas opiniones, la degradación —o no— del lenguaje empleado, la influencia en el voto de estos formatos y el papel del marketing político en los debates, entre otros.
This research was born with the intention of conducting four interviews with two political professionals and two political communication professionals for further analysis, in reference to the televised electoral debates in Spain. Through the testimony of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (former President of the Government), Carmen Martínez Castro (former Secretary of State for Communication), Xabier Fortes (journalist and presenter specializing in politics) and Lluís Orriols (political scientist), we will try to answer key questions that will allow showing an image of the current state and the importance of the debates, examining, through the respective opinions, the degradation –or not– of the language used, the influence on the vote of these formats and the role of political marketing in discussions…
