Recuerdo de hechos traumáticos: de la introspección al estudio objetivo

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza las características de los recuerdos autobiográficos sobre hechos traumáticos, partiendo de la visión introspectiva sobre este tipo de recuerdos, para posteriormente profundizar en su estudio objetivo. La principal conclusión del trabajo lleva a afirmar que los recuerdos autobiográficos sobre hechos traumáticos en conjunto no se diferencian más que en unas pocas dimensiones de otros tipos de recuerdos, aunque cada uno de nosotros a título individual sea capaz de distinguirlos. [ABSTRACT]This paper analyzes the characteristics of autobiographical recall of traumatic events, starting with the introspective view of this type of recall, and going on to its detailed empirical study. The main conclusion of the paper is that autobiographical memory of traumatic events as a whole does not differ more than in a few dimensions from other types of memories, although everyone can distinguish them individually.
