Abstract
Este proyecto de tesis se centra en la compleja interacción entre el sistema inmunitario materno y el trofoblasto fetal, destacando la importancia de la educación de las células NK en el éxito reproductivo. Este proceso de educación, mediado por receptores inhibitorios como CD94/NKG2A y los receptores KIR, es crucial no solo para el desarrollo fetal, sino también para otros mecanismos vitales del organismo. Esta tesis doctoral propone un innovador algoritmo diagnóstico fundamentado en la evaluación de biomarcadores inmunológicos en sangre periférica, con un enfoque particular en las células Natural Killer (NK) citotóxicas y moduladoras, así como en biomarcadores genéticos específicos como los genes KIR, HLA-C y HLA-B. The research focuses on the complex interaction between the maternal immune system and the fetal trophoblast, highlighting the importance of the education of Natural Killer (NK) cells in reproductive success.
