Abstract
This article aims to examine the influence exerted by the Fellowship Foundation on Spanish politics, and the role played by «his man» in our country, Alfonso Osorio. The Fellowship Foundation was born in the United States during the 1930s with apparent religious purposes, but the progressive support of international political and economic sectors gave this organization an obvious paradiplomatic character. It was in the 1960s when it arrived in Spain, that many international contacts were soon to be made available to Spanish and American political interests. Through the testimony of Alfonso Osorio, as well as the extensive documentation and correspondence deposited in his personal archive, I will try to analyze the influence of this Christian organization in our country, observing its importance during the democratic transition to be the period in which Osorio occupied higher political responsibilities.
