Abstract
The global landscape faces a challenging combination of volatility, uncertainty, and complexity. These factors directly affect logistics and, especially, Supply Chains, where companies struggle to maintain their competitive position in the market. This study analyzes how emerging technologies can either mitigate or increase these effects. Their implementation may enhance efficiency, adaptability, and operational resilience in response to environmental challenges. Thanks to the Systematic Literature Review methodology, we have built a robust framework guided by contributions from authors such as Tranfield, Denyer and Smart (2003), Rousseau (2008), and Valilai and Sodachi (2020), among others. These studies support the methodological choice and directly connect theory to practice. The process followed to develop this thesis began with the clear definition of the problem and the formulation of specific objectives. We identified key Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, Big Data, and Generative AI. Subsequently, an analysis of the current context of supply chains in dynamic environments was carried out, as well as the main challenges of technological implementation—with particular emphasis on one of them: cybersecurity. This study helps to understand the key role of technology in the evolution of supply chains and proposes a practical implementation guide for business leaders aiming for success.
