Abstract
Nowadays spatial archaeology is based mainly on georeferencing methods and computing programs that supply us a lot of information and innovations .We can use it to investigate, among other aspects, on behavioural patterns as well as geomorphological processes. This research shows the utilities of lithic refitting and the use of GIS applications to explain spatial distribution of artifacts, stratigraphic integrity and lithic technology in an open air site used as raw material quarrying site during the Middle Palaeolithic in Madrid, Spain.
