Fórmulas rutinarias con forma interrogativa y fuerza ilocutiva expresiva : análisis contrastivo alemán-español y problemas de equivalencia

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The object of this paper is a group of Routine Formulae (RF) with an interrogative grammatical form that represent indirect speech acts, because their illocutionary force is not to obtain an information or an answer, but to perform different expressive speech acts by showing the speaker's emotions, feelings and attitudes. In other words, they are interrogative phrases with an expressive, not an erothetic illocutionary force. Although indirect speech acts most commonly generate from politeness RF, many cases of divergence between grammatical form and illocutionary force can also be found among the so-called «Expressive Routine Formulae». In the paper, a small but representative corpus of the described kind of RF in German and their equivalent expressions in Spanish shall be presented and analyzed regarding the formal and pragmatic levels.
