Sin embargo, este proceso resulta muy desafiante para estudiantes no nativos debido a la naturaleza logográfica del sistema de escritura chino. Learning Chinese characters is a fundamental component of mastering Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL). 学习汉字是掌握汉语的基本组成部分。然而,由于中文书写系统的符号特性,这个过程对于非母语学生来说具有很大的挑战性。对于许多人来说,学习汉语已经成为一个中国神话。对于以西班牙语为母语的学生来说,西班牙官方汉语作为第二语言教学面临着资源明显短缺的问题,具体表现为缺乏专门的教科书、经过专业培训的合格教师和激励性的教学方法。西班牙的汉字教学体系缺乏明确定位和具体方法。汉字教学沿袭传统的印欧语系语言的教学模式,几乎完全忽视了汉字的特性。这种情况对西班牙的汉语二语教学构成很大的障碍,并限制其发展。
