Abstract

The main objective of this study is to capture the learnings of the success and challenges in enforcing effective Tara Bandu and to provide recommendations for its future use. Among those: a) understanding the historical and cultural context of Tara Bandu and its significance within communities; b) identifying the key factors contributing to the success or failure of Tara Bandu; c) analysing the socio-cultural, economic, and environmental challenges associated with implementing Tara Bandu; d) examining the effectiveness of existing strategies and interventions related to the application of Tara Bandu.
