La apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS) es una patología muy prevalente e infradiagnosticada. Existen algoritmos de detección de apnea incorporados en los dispositivos de estimulación cardíaca (ADAM) que realizan un análisis diario, ofreciendo una nueva perspectiva a la hora de observar esta entidad. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la relación y el valor predictivo de variables clínicas, los cuestionarios de screening de AOS, parámetros ecocardiográficos y analíticos (incluyendo marcadores noveles de pronóstico cardiovascular como Galectina-3 y ST2) frente al grado de AOS registrado por los marcapasos. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a prevalent and underdiagnosed condition.
