Abstract
There are no studies that measure the prevalence and real comorbidities of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) according to the DSM-5-TR in 6-year-old children in population and clinical samples or studies that measure them as a whole. The data on the prevalence of these disorders are usually disparate because of the estimation methods (direct/indirect), the type of sample (population/clinical/school) and the ages studied. Thus, the main focus of this thesis is the study of this prevalence and other sociodemographic and biological aspects within a clinical sample.ObjectivesThe main objectives of this study were to determine the prevalence rates, comorbidities and NDD profiles according to the latest version of the DSM-5-TR in a population of 6-year-old boys and girls who were followed longitudinally up to 8 years of age. In the data analysis, gender was taken into account, considering the different manifestations of symptoms and consequences for males and females...
