Introducción: Los pacientes con narcolepsia con cataplejia suelen referir quejas sobre su capacidad de concentración y memoria, sin embargo, estas quejas no siempre son confirmadas por los resultados en los test neuropsicológicos. Diferentes estudios han concluido que las principales funciones cognitivas alteradas en la narcolepsia con cataplejia son el mantenimiento de la atención y las funciones ejecutivas, en concreto, la resistencia a la interferencia de estímulos y la fluidez verbal.
