Abstract
La tesis doctoral denominada Prácticas y concepciones docentes asociadas a la evaluación de las matemáticas en educación primaria, parte de la importancia que se le atribuye en la literatura especializada y en las políticas educativas a nivel nacional e internacional a la evaluación en el aula como un proceso capaz de incidir en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. A su vez, se incluye el estudio de las concepciones docentes asociadas a la naturaleza de las matemáticas, su enseñanza y evaluación, por la evidencia teórica de su supuesta influencia en la práctica pedagógica. La acotación al campo de las matemáticas se encuentra motivada por el reconocimiento de esta disciplina en el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes y, que además, es una de las asignaturas con mayor relevancia histórica en el currículo de educación básica en México. The doctoral dissertation titled “Teachers’ practices and conceptions associated to math assessment in the classrooms” arises from the relevance that current available literature and, both, national and international policies, give to the classroom assessment as a process capable to impact teaching and learning. The study of teachers’ conceptions associated to the nature of math, their teaching and their assessment is also included in this work, due to the existence of theoretical support of its influence in the pedagogical practice.The motivation to delimit this study into the area of math is its impact in the cognitive development of the students, being also one of the assignments that has more historical relevance in Mexican education curriculum.
