La administración de justicia criminal ha sido un tema de estudio por parte de los historiadores del Derecho en los últimos años, por tanto, encontramos una amplia bibliografía, la mayor parte de los trabajos versan sobre la administración de justicia superior tanto en el ámbito procesal como en el penal. Este trabajo tiene por objeto estudiar el funcionamiento de la administración de Justicia municipal en San Martín de la Vega, señorío perteneciente a los marqueses de Moya, posteriormente a los Condes de Chinchón, cuya circunscripción estaría dentro dela jurisdicción señorial. The administration of criminal justice has been a subject of study by legal historians inrecent years; therefore, we find an extensive bibliography, with the majority of works focusing on the administration of justice, both procedurally and in criminal matters. This work aims to study the functioning of municipal justice administration in San Martín de la Vega, a lordship belonging to the Marquises of Moya and later to the Counts of Chinchón, whose jurisdiction would fall within the seigniorial jurisdiction.
