Abstract
Interpersonal relationships with the physical space we inhabit play a key role constructing our identity. Body, space and memory are three fundamental concepts that become the main pillars of this project, all of them under a scene in which body and space aren't necessarily physical and memory shares place with gadgets and devices which are far from those we are used to interact with. The point of this all is to talk and make questions about the physical context in which we move, about limits that deny us the vision of a territory on ruins, about a lost memory of places, due to speculative interests. This way, we go far from the ''natural landscape'' conception, considering land as an element that is constantly damaged by the human footprint, even when this can be unnoticed on our daily life flow. The starting point are several modifications in the territory that surrounds Don Álvaro (Badajoz). This project proposes to study them, having as conducting axis the variations that have affected Guadiana river from year 1956 to year 2018. From year 2000 on, huge development of illegal constructions can be widely noticed, being one of the reasons - as well as natural ones - that has caused modifications in the river's course. It’s a new way of looking into the landscape and wandering through it, of not conceiving it as something static but as an human projection, where the archives - from public to private sources - become a tool, putting into the table a wide range of possibilities for recognising and inhabiting a territory.
