La eficacia del juego y la creatividad para la integración social de los inmigrantes

Abstract

Los efectos positivos de los juegos no son exclusivos de los niños, aunque frecuentemente se les relacione con actividades infantiles. Wenner Moyer (2014) afirma que los adultos que no juegan son infelices y están cansados sin entender por qué, y sugiere que jugar promueve el desarrollo neuronal en áreas del cerebro asociadas con reacciones emocionales y el aprendizaje social; si jugar es tan benéfico ¿por qué es común escuchar que no se tiene tiempo para jugar? El juego forma parte del comportamiento humano, los niños y adultos de todas las épocas han jugado. La vida hoy en día es más compleja que en el pasado, existe una tendencia natural a mejorar las condiciones sociales y económicas en que las se vive; si estas condiciones no son satisfechas en el país donde se nace, la búsqueda se amplía a otros países. En los últimos dos siglos, factores como la transportación y el acceso a la comunicación han mejorado notoriamente, promoviendo el incremento de flujos migratorios. A pesar de lo antiguo que son las migraciones como fenómeno social, su análisis es relativamente nuevo. Existen barreras para los residentes procedentes de otros países que viven en España como son: el acceso a los servicios de empleo y formación, procesos administrativos complicados, ignorancia de derechos y deberes, discriminación laboral, dificultad en la inserción laboral de mujeres inmigrantes, y un desconocimiento generalizado de la realidad migratoria de la sociedad, entre otras...The positive effects of games are not exclusive of children; despite they are often related to children's activities. Wenner Moyer (2014) states that adults who do not play are unhappy and tired without understanding why, and suggests that playing promotes neuronal development in areas of the brain associated with emotional reactions and social learning; therefore, if playing has such positive effects, why it is common to hear that there is no time to play? Games are part of human behaviour; children and adults have always played. Life today is more complex than in the past, there is a natural tendency of improving social and economic conditions; if these conditions are not met in the country where a person is born the search for this goal is extended to other countries. In the last two centuries, factors such as access to transportation and communication have improved significantly, promoting an increase of migratory flows. Despite that migration is an old social phenomenon; its analysis is relatively new. There are barriers to residents from other countries living in Spain: access to employment and training, complex administrative processes, lack of knowledge of their rights and duties, job discrimination, language, issues in the insertion of women in the labour market, widespread ignorance of the reality of immigration by the society, amongst many others...
