Conformidad con las normas de género femeninas y masculinas, apoyos sociales, resiliencia y salud mental en mujeres trans en exclusión social

Abstract

Las mujeres trans que han participado en este trabajo se encuentran en exclusión social, dado que diversas estructuras sociales las sitúa en posiciones de desigualdad ya sea por ser mujeres, por ser trans, por ser migrantes y/o por ejercer prostitución. Entre la discriminación que vivencian se encuentra la invisibilidad que se refleja en la falta de estudios referidos hacia este colectivo. A su vez, si se consideran los estudios referidos a las personas trans, hasta hace poco muy escasos, lo cierto es que en los últimos años se ha asistido a un ligero aumento en el número de publicaciones, habiéndose constatado entre otras cosas las altas tasas de discriminación a la que se enfrentan estas personas en su vida diaria, si bien, también se empiezan a visibilizar determinados factores que pueden predecir resultados positivos en su salud. A pesar de todo, se continúa observando un número reducido de estudios que aborden la problemática de las personas trans, y especialmente de las mujeres trans en exclusión social. Vista esta carencia de estudios, se plantea como objetivo analizar la relación entre la conformidad con las normas de género femeninas y masculinas, el apoyo social, la resiliencia y salud mental en mujeres trans en situación de exclusión social...The trans women who have participated in this study are in social exclusion, given that various social structures place them in positions of inequality, either because they are women, because they are trans, because they are migrants and/or because they are sex workers.
