Agentes críticos: Prácticas colectivas y arte público

Abstract

Agentes crítico presenta una etnografía muy particular de los personajes clave del paisaje del arte público español. Todos ellos han contribuido desde finales de los años 80 hasta la actualidad a configurar la escena de las prácticas artísticas que transitan lo político y lo social en el territorio español. Es también el resultado del trabajo en el seno del Grupo Cultura Urbana de la UNED en la investigación “Practicemad: prácticas culturales emergentes en el nuevo Madrid» (cso2009-10780) que luego se llamó “Madrid Cosmópolis: prácticas emergentes y procesos metropolitanos» (cso2012-33949).

El libro sigue la larga tradición del arte de la conversación. Un salón móvil y nómada. Como escribe la autora en la introducción: “En contra de un modo napoleónico, agresivo, confrontacional, individualista y egoísta, he querido, preguntando, saber qué de colectivo hay en la vida de cada uno de mis invitados”. Y ese es el objetivo final, dilucidar en una auto relato de cada invitado qué hay de colectivo y común en la vida de cada uno de ellos.Critical Agents presents a very particular ethnography of the key characters in the Spanish public art landscape. All of them have contributed from the end of the 1980s to the present day to configure the scene of artistic practices that move through the political and the social in Spanish territory. It is also the result of work within the UNED Urban Culture Group in the research “Practicemad: emerging cultural practices in the new Madrid» (cso2009-10780), which was later called “Madrid Cosmopolis: emerging practices and metropolitan processes» ( cso2012-33949).

The book follows the long tradition of the art of conversation. A mobile and nomadic hall. As the author writes in the introduction: "Against a Napoleonic, aggressive, confrontational, individualistic and selfish way, I have wanted, asking, to know what is collective in the life of each of my guests." And that is the final objective, to elucidate in a self-account of each guest what is collective and common in the life of each of them.
