Memoria histórica e imagen regia en la Castilla Trastámara

Abstract

La imagen del rey y sus símbolos constituye un eje vertebrador de la cultura visual durante la Baja Edad Media. En el presente artículo, analizamos los nexos existentes en el reino de Castilla entre la definición de este ideario político- memoria libraria- y la plasmación de esos conceptos en el imaginario artístico a través de espacios palatinos y funerarios propios y de una variada tipología- y antropología- de la imagen regiaThe image of the king and his symbols constitutes an important axis of visual culture during the Low Midele Ages.
