El concepto de incomunicación en el teatro como espejo de la sociedad

Abstract

Esta tesis doctoral, titulada El concepto de incomunicación en el teatro como espejo de la sociedad, pretende investigar, ante la preocupación e interés que detectamos acerca de esta problemática hoy, el alcance, definición, procesos colaterales, causas y consecuencias de este fenómeno de déficit comunicativo a través de los trasvases e interrelaciones entre el teatro y la sociedad, dado que el primero, como toda expresión artística, es fruto siempre del segundo y sus circunstancias y peculiaridades, por lo que aquí se trata de extrapolar conclusiones elocuentes desde un campo al otro, teniendo en cuenta, además, que la incomunicación tiene un papel esencial en el teatro como motor dramatúrgico, lo cual favorece sus paralelismos. Por tanto, entre los objetivos marcados, se incluye el delimitar y esclarecer qué significa el concepto de incomunicación que nos atañe, partiendo de ello de diversas dimensiones que den una idea amplia y global del fenómeno; es decir, el campo filosófico, sociológico, filológico y artístico, con especial incidencia del campo teatral dentro de este último. Seguidamente, abordar y confirmar la relación como vasos comunicantes entre el teatro y la sociedad, siempre con la mirada puesta en cómo la primera muestra la incomunicación para interrelacionarlo con el segundo. Junto a ello, se analiza la inherencia de este fenómeno con el teatro a través de un hilo conductor dramatúrgico y escénico, mostrando así el constante interés del ser humano por la incomunicación y tomando para ello los principales hitos teatrales y dramatúrgicos, tales como Shakespeare, Calderón de la Barca, Ibsen, Strindberg, Chéjov, Pinter, Koltès, Tennessee Williams, Sergi Belbel, etc. Y, por último, a través del teatro producido hoy y de todo lo estudiado anteriormente, examinar cómo afecta la incomunicación a la sociedad actual, qué motivaciones se esconden tras ella...

This PhD thesis, entitled The concept of miscommunication in theater as a mirror of society, seeks to investigate, given the concern and interest we detect relating to this problem today, the scope, definition, collateral processes, causes and consequences about this phenomenon of deficit communicative throughout the transfers and interrelations between theater and society, since the first one, like all artistic expression, is always the result of the second and its circumstances and peculiarities, so our goal is to extrapolate eloquent conclusions from a field to another, considering, in addition, that the miscommunication plays an essential role in theater as a dramaturgical engine, which favors its parallels. Therefore, among the objectives set, it is included the delimitation and clarification of what the concept of miscommunication means, based on various dimensions that give us a broad and global idea of the phenomenon; that is, the philosophical, sociological, philological and artistic field, with special emphasis on the theatrical field. Next, to approach and confirm the relationship as communicating vessels between theater and society, always with an eye on how the first one shows miscommunication to interrelate with the second. Along with this, the inherence of the phenomenon to theater is analyzed through a dramaturgical and scenic guiding thread, thus showing us the constant interest of human being for miscommunication and using for it the main theatrical and dramaturgical landmarks: Shakespeare, Calderón de la Barca, Ibsen, Strindberg, Chekhov, Pinter, Koltès, Tennessee Williams, Sergi Belbel, etc. And, finally, through the theater produced today and everything that has been studied previously, to examine how miscommunication affects the current society, what motivations are hidden behind it...
