Memoria, creatividad y arte chileno emergente

Abstract

El siguiente proyecto indaga acerca de las diversas relaciones, correspondencias y diálogos existentes entre memoria, creatividad y artes visuales, mediante un recorrido histórico por diferentes abordajes de la memoria, el estudio de la relación entre memoria y creatividad, y la reflexión sobre la obra de arte como creación colectiva, capaz de contribuir a la elaboración de una memoria social. Para ello se revisarán enfoques provenientes de las ciencias sociales, la filosofía y la historia del arte, construyendo un diálogo, tanto entre los ejes de estudio planteados (Memoria, Creatividad, Arte), como entre las lecturas realizadas y diversas imágenes de obras artísticas transversales a distintas épocas y emplazamientos geográficos, en torno a una inquietud sobre la función mnemónica del arte. The following project is an invitation to reflect about the different relationships, correspondences and dialogs that exist between memory, creativity and visual arts, through a travel on history amongst different ways of approaching memory, the study of the relationship between memory and creativity, and the reflection about the art work as a collective creation, capable of contributing to the elaboration of a social memory. For that, we will review approaches coming from social sciences, philosophy, and art history, building a dialog between the axis of study raised (memory, creativity, art), and the universe of readings and images of art works transversal to different times and geographical placements, around the question of the mnemonic function of artistic creation.
