Evolución del sistema de los pronombres demostrativos entre el ático clásico y el griego moderno: consideraciones a la luz de un análisis cuantitativo

Abstract

A diferencia del griego antiguo, que tuvo un sistema pronominal demostrativo trimembre, el griego moderno presenta otro básicamente bimembre. Análisis diacrónico de la evolución entre ambos aplicando la teoría de las «dinámicas» de H.-J. Seiler, a la luz de datos cuantitativos sacados de autores de diversos periodos comprendidos entre el s. V a.C. y el final del periodo bizantino.

Unlike ancient Greek, which had a system of demonstrative pronouns with three terms, Modern Greek basically has a two-terms system. This paper offers a diachronic analysis of the linguistic development between both stages by applying the dynamics-theory of H.-J. Seiler in the light of quantitative data from Greek authors of several periods between the 5th century BCE and the end of the Byzantine Period.
