On a simple model of tumor growth

Abstract

We study a simple mathematical model for the growth of spherical tumors with two free boundaries: an inner boundary delaying the necrotic zone and the outer boundary delaying the tumor. We take into account the presence of inhibitors and establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions under suitable conditions on the inhibitors interaction and the tumor growth.
