Abstract
Este artículo analiza cómo el arraigo sociorresidencial de las personas inmigrantes en barrios madrileños vulnerables facilita su participación en los ensamblajes locales de bienestar y de cuidados, y viceversa. La hipótesis principal es que devienen soportes socioexistenciales para dichos colectivos en estos espacios, especialmente en tiempos de crisis. El análisis de 97 entrevistas pone de manifiesto cómo en dichos ensamblajes se interpenetran distintas interacciones, centrándose la atención en las que tienen lugar a escala local. Estas últimas incluyen tanto las que se despliegan dentro de los hogares como las que involucran a redes migratorias y vecinales y a infraestructuras sociales de proximidad. Se considera también la feminización de estas interacciones y la diversidad interna del colectivo en lo que hace a su relación tanto con el arraigo como con su posible expulsión del barrio, que se vincula estrechamente en sus narrativas con su situación respecto de la vulnerabilidad residencial.
This article analyses how the roots of immigrants in vulnerable neighbourhoods in Madrid facilitates their participation in local assemblages of well-being and care and vice versa. The main hypothesis is that these assemblages become socio-existential supports for these people in multicultural neighbourhoods, especially in times of crisis. The analysis of 97 interviews reveals how different interactions interpenetrate in these assemblages, focusing attention on those that take place at a local scale. The latter include both those that develop within homes and those that involve migratory and neighbourhood networks and local social infrastructures. The feminization of these interactions and the internal diversity of the group are also considered in terms of their relationship with both their roots and their possible expulsion from the neighbourhood, which is linked in their narratives, particularly, with their situation regarding residential vulnerability.
