Sociedad civil y acción colectiva

Abstract

El artículo que aquí se presenta informa sobre algunos conceptos clave en el estudio de la participación, la acción colectiva y determinados “grupos intermedios” como algunas organizaciones sociales que forman parte de la sociedad civil. Formas de participación y organizaciones sociales que ponen de manifiesto la capacidad de la sociedad civil para operar como contrapeso del orden político en aquellas situaciones y escenarios en los que la ciudadanía percibe que los efectos, o la ausencia, de determinadas políticas públicas son injustos, o bien pone en tela de juicio la legitimidad de determinadas acciones ejecutadas por los actores que ejercen, pretenden o detentan el poder político.This article informs about some key aspects in the study of participation, collective action and certain ‘intermediate groups’, such as some social organizations that are part of the civil society. These forms of participation and social organizations show the capacity of civil society to operate as counterweight of the politic order in those situations and scenarios in which the citizenship perceives that the effects, or the lack, of certain public politics are unjust, or calls into question the legitimacy of particular actions developed by the actors that exercise, pretend or unlawfully hold the politic power.
