Las discusiones en torno a la eutanasia han ganado presencia e intensidad en las últimas décadas. No obstante, la articulaciónlegalde la eutanasia y su aceptación social ha sido y es todavía problemática. Discussions around euthanasia have gained in presence and intensity in recent decades. However, the legal articulation of euthanasia and its social acceptance has been and still is problematic. After a brief introduction to its history and fundamental concepts, this article analyzes what we call “euthanasia on psychiatric-psychological grounds”, a particularly conflictive form of euthanasia because of its implications for areas such as autonomy, identity or responsibility, among others.
