Abstract
El cáncer de mama es un problema de salud pública de los países desarrollados y en vías de desarrollo. El cáncer de mama fue el cáncer más común en las mujeres de todo el mundo, contribuyendo con el 25,4% del número total de casos nuevos diagnosticados en 2018. Numerosos estudios han demostrado los efectos nocivos del tabaquismo, particularmente su contribución a la hipoxia tisular, la vasoconstricción cutánea y la disminución del flujo sanguíneo digital que conduce a trombos periféricos e isquemia en la piel. Estos efectos fisiopatológicos se han observado durante la práctica clínica, particularmente en la curación. En las intervenciones quirúrgicas, el tabaco representa una gran morbilidad a un coste social considerable.
