Abstract

Flamenco al Piano es un método concebido para enseñar a los pianistas a tocar flamenco. En este tratado, no sólo pianistas sino compositores, teóricos y músicos en general encontrarán un estudio minucioso de la rítmica, armonía, melodía y estructuras formales de cada uno de los palos flamencos y suaplicación práctica al piano. Nos encontramos ante un material didáctico novedoso que integra, además de partituras para el aprendizaje y la interpretación del flamenco tradicional, recursos para la improvisación, composición y fusión del flamenco.

Twelve Studies for Flamenco Guitar is intended for advanced flamenco guitar students. who have completed the intermediate-level 24 Studies for Flamenco Guitar and want to perfect their technique. This volume includes eight studies to polish the advanced student's technique; each study consists of a short flamenco piece in one of the distinctive flamenco rhythms or styles. This book also includes four concert studies specifically designed to address every aspect of flamenco guitar technique and maintain the advanced player's technical level. The book's text appears in English, Spanish and French with all selections in standard notation and tablature.
