Abstract

La década de 2011-2021 está protagonizada por profundas transformaciones políticas y sociales en Oriente Medio, que tienen una repercusión directa en la estabilidad y seguridad de la región. Las revueltas antiautoritarias de 2011 representan el punto inicial de un nuevo período en la zona. El artículo analiza los principales puntos de crisis y conflictos en Oriente Medio. La hipótesis inicial es que las dinámicas de cambio están vinculadas a la ruptura del statu quo regional. La reciente década constituye el final del orden establecido y el inicio de un nuevo escenario por definir.

The 2011-2021 decade is determined by deep political and social transformations in the Middle East, which have a direct impact on the stability and security of the region. The uprisings of 2011 mean the starting point of a new period in the area. The paper analyzes the main spots of crisis and conflict in the Middle East. The initial hypothesis is that the dynamics of change are linked to the breakdown of the regional status quo. The recent decade set up the end of the established order and the beginning of a new scenario to be defined.
