Abstract
La biomasa lignocelulósica está considerada como una de las principales alternativas a los combustibles fósiles en la búsqueda de la sostenibilidad. Es una estructura tridimensional compleja, por lo que necesita de tratamientos para facilitar su aprovechamiento. En este sentido, un correcto fraccionamiento del material lignocelulósico en sus componentes principales es una de las estrategias más interesantes.A lo largo de los años, se han propuesto distintos tratamientos para fraccionar el material. El tratamiento de autohidrólisis consigue separar las hemicelulosas de la madera, pudiendo recuperarse. Los tratamientos organosolv e ionosolv, los cuales emplean disolventes orgánicos y líquidos iónicos próticos como disolventes, respectivamente, son empleados para solubilizar la lignina para su posterior recuperación...
Lignocellulosic biomass is considered one of the main alternatives to fossil fuels in the search for sustainability. It is a complex three-dimensional structure, so different treatments to facilitate its use are needed. In this sense, a correct fractionation of the lignocellulosic material in its main components is one of the most interesting strategies.
