Abstract

En este trabajo vamos a ver como el patronazgo del Cardenal Cisneros en la producción libraría castellana se refleja en el uso de emblemas que le identifican en la portada de diferentes libros. Lo llamativo de este hecho es que dichos emblemas en forma de escudo heráldico van a mostrar muy distintas imágenes, que vamos a intentar explicar de forma detallada, así como su uso fuera de España y su mantenimiento más allá de su muerte en su principal creación, la Universidad Complutense.In this work we are going to see how the patronage of Cardinal Cisneros in Castilian book production is reflected in the use of emblems that identify him on the cover of different books.
