Abstract
La presente tesis doctoral titulada “Balder y su espectáculo de variedades con muñecos de manipulación. Preservación de un patrimonio material e inmaterial” tiene por objetivo contribuir a la recuperación y puesta en valor del espectáculo de ventriloquia en la primera mitad del siglo XX en España a través del estudio de todos los elementos materiales e inmateriales que integran la obra del artista Eugenio Balderrain Santamaría, alías Balder. El legado material de Balder hoy se conserva en el Museo Nacional del Teatro, y está constituido por un conjunto de esculturas con apariencia de muñecos de manipulación, con su indumentaria, bisutería, accesorios, instrumentos musicales, partituras, discos de pizarra, baúles, recortes de prensa, fotografías y carteles publicitarios del espectáculo, entre otros...
The present doctoral thesis entitled “Balder and his variety show with manipulation dolls. Preservation of a material and intangible heritage” aims to contribute to the recovery and enhancement of the ventriloquism show in the first half of the 20th century in Spain throughthe study of all the material and immaterial elements that make up the work of the artist Eugenio Balderrain Santamaría, alias Balder. Balder's material legacy is today preserved in the National Theater Museum and is made up of a set of sculptures that look like manipulation dolls, with their clothing, jewelry, accessories, musical instruments, sheet music, slate records, trunks, clippings press releases, photographs, and advertising posters of the show,among others...
