Abstract
La familia Blechnaceae es un grupo de helechos leptosporangiados de distribución subcosmopolita, que presenta una gran complejidad taxonómica en todos los niveles de clasificación, y para la que todavía se proponen taxones nuevos con bastante frecuencia en la actualidad. El último gran cambio taxonómico global a nivel de familia se propuso en 2016-17, cambiando de un sistema tradicional de 9-11 géneros a 24-25 géneros. Si bien estos géneros parecen estar bien sustentados filogenéticamente, algunos parecen necesitar de un mayor respaldo diagnóstico, mientras que otros deberían ser revisados a niveles por debajo del género, pues el conocimiento de muchos de los taxones que lo integran es escaso y está poco definido. Este estudio por tanto se centra en la revisión sistemática de los géneros Lomaridium C. Presl y Cranfillia Gasper & V.A.O. Dittrich, tanto desde un enfoque tradicional que se apoya en rasgos morfoanatómicos, como desde el estudio molecular y filogenético de los taxones implicados...
The family Blechnaceae is a group of leptosporangiate ferns with a subcosmopolitan distribution, which exhibits great taxonomic complexity at all levels of classification, and for which new taxa are still being proposed quite frequently today.The last major global taxonomic change at the family level was proposed in 2016-17, changing from a traditional system of 9-11 genera to 24-25 genera. While these genera appear to be phylogenetically well supported, some of them appear to be in need of further diagnostic support, while others should be reviewed at levels below the genus, as knowledge of many of the taxa is scarce and poorly defined. This study therefore focuses on the systematic revision of the genera Lomaridium C. Presl and Cranfillia Gasper & V.A.O.
