Révolution de l’image à l’avènement de la Modernité

Abstract

Une série de circonstances politiques, sociales et artistiques ont diversifié le lyrisme à part entière en Espagne et en Amérique Latine au cours du XIXe siècle. Grâce à l’influence des «Lyriques du Nord», à l’aube du XXe siècle, une nouvelle expression trouve son nouveau cheminement : c’est le temps de la Modernité. L’étude de la nouveauté de l’image peut aider à mieux comprendre cette révolution.

Una serie de circunstancias políticas, sociales y artísticas han dificultado el desarrollo pleno de la lírica en España e Iberoamérica durante buena parte del siglo XIX. Gracias al influjo de las «Líricas del Norte», en los umbrales del siglo XX estas literaturas encuentran finalmente el camino expedito para su plena expresión: es el tiempo del modernismo. El estudio de la novedad de la imagen puede ayudar a comprender esta revolución.

A series of political, social and artistic circumstances have hindered the full development of poetry in Spain and Latin-America during a good part of the 19th century. Thanks to the influence of the "Poetries of the North", on the threshold of the 20th century, these literatures finally find the way to their full expression: it is the time of Modernismo. The study of the novelty of the image, under the influence of Symbolism, can help to understand this revolution.
