Características espectrales de mezclas minerales en el Piedemonte de la Sierra de la Peña de Francia (provincia de Salamanca)

Abstract

Laboratory reflectance spectroscopy covering the 400 to 2500 nm wavelength interval and X-ray diffraction analysis are applied to a set of samples composed of mineral mixtures, in order to determine the relatioships between spectral curves and sample mineralogy. Three spectral groups are distinguished and asigned to three different parts of the Sierra de la Peña de Francia Piedmont, contributing to the understanding of its spectral response, in order to be applied to the interpretation of satellite images.
