Abstract
El aumento de la esperanza de vida está incrementando la prevalencia de las enfermedades asociadas al sistema nervioso, lo que hace necesario el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías que permitan detectar este tipo de patologías, así como de terapias para paliar sus efectos. En particular, la medida de los campos magnéticos generados por el sistema nervioso, magnetoencefalografía, ha permitido en los últimos años profundizar en el estudio del cerebro y de las enfermedades relacionadas con el funcionamiento del mismo. No obstante, los dispositivos para la detección de campos magnéticos son muy voluminosos y no permiten la implantación crónica, por lo que a fecha de hoy su uso en neurología está bastante limitado...
The rising life expectancy is increasing the prevalence of diseases associated with thenervous system, which makes it necessary to develop new technologies that allow thedetection of this type of pathology, as well as therapies to alleviate their effects.
