Abstract
Las tecnologías de impresión 3D y su aplicación en el sector farmacéutico han tomado preponderancia en los últimos 5 años pasando del ámbito meramente investigativo y constituyéndose en una alternativa real de aplicación en el área galénica e intrahospitalaria. Herramientas como la impresión 3D en combinación con las técnicas de formulación de liberación modificada como los sistemas osmóticos, modificadores de solubilidad dependientes de pH y los sistemas de liberación autonanoemulsionables han demostrado ofrecer soluciones para el abordaje de cuadros complejos de polimedicación como el síndrome metabólico.
