Abstract

El asma es un síndrome que ocasiona inflamación y estrechamiento de las vías respiratorias. Esto hace que se presenten sibilancias, dificultad respiratoria, opresión en el pecho y tos. Por el desarrollo industrial, se ha producido un aumento en la población infantil. En esta revisión bibliográfica, se intentará hacer una recopilación desde las pruebas usadas para su diagnóstico, su clasificación, fenotipos y los tratamientos más frecuentemente utilizados, así como, el uso de sistemas de inhalaciónAsthma is a syndrome that causes inflammation and narrowing of the airways. This causes wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness and coughing. By industrial development, there has been an increase in the child population. In this review, we will try to make a compilation from the tests used for diagnostic, classification, phenotypes and the most frequently used treatments and the use of inhalation systems.
