The Stern-Gerlach quantum-like behaviour of a classical charged particle

The effect of the radiation reaction on the precession of a classical charged particle in a magnetic field is investigated. It is shown that the spin spirals around the field and becomes parallel or antiparallel to it, depending on the initial value of the angle between spin and field being smaller or greater than 90º.
