História e literatura: entre narrativas literárias e históricas, uma análise através do conceito de representação

Abstract

Este artigo busca clarear o conceito de representação, conforme as teorias da História Cultural, e analisar a aproximação entre História e Literatura, bem como a utilização da literatura como fonte documental para a historiografia. No campo da história, os nomes destacados, como os de Roger Chartier e Pierre Bourdieu, remetem às inovações metodológicas e epistemológicas da segunda metade do século XX, baseadas em perspectivas sócio-culturais. A partir dessas novas perspectivas e partindo de novos conceitos, foi possível historicizar a obra literária e assumi-la de vez como uma evidência histórica. Assim, se pretende conduzir um estudo que identifica que tanto o texto histórico como o literário compartilham um projeto similar de apreender as realidades humanas. Hoje, muitos historiadores já reconhecem no texto literárioa possibilidade de se identificar dados históricos com a peculiaridade e expressividades próprias da linguagem artística, sendo a literatura, portanto, um campo privilegiado para a investigação histórica. Dentre as fontes referenciadas ao longo deste trabalho, dá-se ênfase a obras paradigmáticas para o pensar e fazer histórico e literário contemporâneo, são eles: Roger Chartier, Sandra Pesavento, Pierre Bourdieu.

This article seeks to clarify the concept of representation, according to the theories of Cultural History, and analyze the connection between history and literature, as well as the use of literature as a source document to historiography. In the field of history, the highlighted names such as Roger Chartier and Pierre Bourdieu, refer to epistemological and methodological innovations of the second half of the Twentieth century, based on socio-cultural perspectives. From these new perspectives and building of new concepts, it was possible to historicize the literary work and took her time as historical evidence. So, this work want to conduct a study that identifies both the historical text as literary share asimilar design to grasp the human realities. Today, many historians now recognize the literary text, the ability to identify historical data with own uniqueness and expressiveness of the language arts, and literature, hence a privileged field for historical research. Among the sources referenced throughout this work, emphasis is given to works paradigmatic thinking and doing historical and literary contemporary, they are: Roger Chartier, Sandra Pesavento, Pierre Bourdieu
