Abstract
ABSTRACT: There is still much to be studied in Spanish academia on the functioning of transmedia aesthetics. In some academic circles, «popular culture« still suffers from the stigma «not worthy of study». On the other hand, its complexity and the large number of works of this aesthetic make it very difficult to study as a whole. One of the most interesting ways to approach a set of transmedia works is to take a strong thematic basis by which to establish certain lines that enrich their reading and account for their relationship with society. As an example of a fractal approach to transmedia aesthetics, we propose the study of a transmedia universe from a single concept. In this sense, I will comment on some works taken from different languages in order to extract from them a sample of the way in which Star Wars represents the concept of Evil and from which ideologies it starts out.
